Job Description

Workday Analyst Overview

  • The Workday Analyst will support, enhance, and optimize the Workday ecosystem across Core HCM and related modules.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent teams to design scalable Workday solutions.
  • Play a key role in transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and support activities.
  • Utilize technical expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, security, and integration management.
  • Maintain documentation, process flows, and functional design documents for system changes.
  • Support self-service functionality for employees and managers, ensuring usability and performance.
  • Contribute to the development of advanced Workday reports and dashboards for organizational insights.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies, integration failures, and security-related issues.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment of Workday solutions with business requirements.

Workday Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizations, validations, and security assignments.
  • Lead requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production support for Workday projects.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and discovery boards.
  • Support integration troubleshooting and coordinate with internal and external vendors.
  • Partner with IT teams to manage inbound and outbound integrations, including Workday Studio and APIs.
  • Analyze downstream impacts of configuration changes across integrations, reporting, and security.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability in Workday reporting standards.
  • Support data conversion, validation, and auditing processes.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Workday Analyst Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Workday Certification(s) strongly preferred; Workday Studio or Extend certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Hands-on Workday techno-functional expertise in configuration, reporting, and integration.
  • Experience supporting or leading at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
  • Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, and XSLT transformations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on operational excellence and automation.
