Product Manager Overview

  • The Product Manager will lead strategic initiatives in product development, focusing on medical device and software solutions within a healthcare-focused organization.
  • Drive innovation and optimize user experience for flagship software products, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product releases aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, including packaging, tiering, and monetization models for robust product offerings.
  • Manage a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on accountability and outcomes.
  • Translate market trends and customer feedback into actionable product initiatives to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Ensure compliance with DEA and FDA regulations while developing strategies for regulated product lines.
  • Report to executive leadership, contributing to strategic planning and organizational growth objectives.

Product Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for flagship software solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from concept through optimization, ensuring high-quality releases and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Scrum development teams to prioritize backlogs and drive product innovation and usability improvements.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development processes effectively.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform pricing strategies and product positioning.
  • Partner with sales and finance teams to align pricing models with revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, establishing best practices and governance frameworks for product management.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards, across product offerings and strategies.

Product Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, including leadership roles with direct reports.
  • Proven expertise in managing SaaS or software platforms, preferably within healthcare or medical office environments.
  • Strong background in developing and executing pricing strategies and models aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA, and experience with regulated product lines.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in medical office management, practice management, or healthcare IT systems is preferred.
