Job Description

Product Manager Overview

  • The Product Manager will lead operational aspects of '34 Act Registered Funds, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with General Partners and Relationship Managers to deliver comprehensive fund lifecycle management.
  • Drive fund launch projects, coordinating across structuring, documentation, and operational readiness milestones.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external distribution partners for efficient fund operations.
  • Provide market intelligence on fund trends and best practices to enhance client offerings.
  • Oversee platform configurations, including share classes, fee structures, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate workflows and ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain risk and issue logs, contributing to the improvement of operational playbooks.

Product Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5-9 years of experience in product or project management within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of alternative investment products and fund structures.
  • Familiarity with registered funds and complex operational requirements preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and SEC filings is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships effectively.
  • Experience with software platforms used in alternative investments and fund services.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
