Truss Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design roof and floor truss systems using specialized software like MiTek SE or Alpine.
- Review architectural plans and engineering specifications to create structurally sound designs.
- Ensure truss layouts comply with building codes, engineering standards, and customer expectations.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, efficiency, material utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, builders, contractors, engineers, and production teams.

Truss Designer Job Requirements
