ServiceNow Architect Overview

• The ServiceNow Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of ServiceNow platforms, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for business workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver ServiceNow solutions that meet confidentiality and compliance standards within a dynamic organizational environment.
• Provide strategic technical leadership for ServiceNow architecture, aligning with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Drive adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities, including AI-driven insights and advanced workflow automation tools.
• Ensure 24/7/365 availability of critical services through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
• Produce comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and compliance reports.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Maintain accurate records in ticketing and change management systems to support seamless operations.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

ServiceNow Architect Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Define, document, and evolve the ServiceNow architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security policies.
• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow modules and custom applications.
• Design secure integrations between ServiceNow and legacy systems using APIs and integration tools.
• Establish best practices for change management, release management, and configuration control within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Monitor platform health, resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure service availability.
• Collaborate with legal practice groups, security, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery.
• Produce detailed documentation, including solution designs and compliance reports, to support operational excellence.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and propose enhancements to optimize platform capabilities.
• Provide escalation support in a 24/7/365 environment to address critical issues promptly.

ServiceNow Architect Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience architecting and managing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow scripting, module configuration, and custom application development.
• Proficiency in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools using APIs and automation frameworks.
• Certifications such as CSA, CSS, or CSM are highly preferred for this role.
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and hybrid environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex implementations effectively.
• Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity in sensitive organizational contexts.
