Technical Trainer Overview
- The Technical Trainer role involves delivering innovative technology training to attorneys and staff, ensuring confidentiality and fostering positive relationships within the organization.
- Develop and implement creative training materials, including course outlines, exercises, and self-guided learning tools for diverse technology topics.
- Collaborate with IT management and administrative teams to design training strategies tailored to organizational needs.
- Provide proactive support and troubleshooting for end-user applications, including Microsoft 365, iManage Work 10, Adobe Acrobat, and mobile applications.
- Maintain and update documentation such as user guides, quick reference cards, and FAQs to support user learning.
- Evaluate and test new software to ensure compatibility and usability within the organization.
- Support Help Desk staff with advanced troubleshooting and provide training on complex applications.
- Contribute to the organization’s intranet by writing and updating content, including daily tips and FAQs.
- Ensure training materials and office supplies are well-maintained and readily available for training sessions.

Technical Trainer Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with a focus on technology or training preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in technology training within professional services; law firm experience is advantageous.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows 11, document management systems, and legal-specific applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to create technical documentation.
- Proficiency in iOS and iPad OS devices and experience with learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to excellence and customer service, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays, as required.
