Temporary Recruiter Overview

  • The Temporary Recruiter role focuses on supporting the hiring process for a dynamic organization.
  • Conduct interviews and manage candidate journeys from resume review to offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate with sourcers and recruiters to meet staffing needs effectively.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience aligned with organizational culture.

Temporary Recruiter Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct 8-10 interviews daily, assessing candidates using behavior-based techniques.
  • Manage the entire candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Collaborate with school leaders to identify and fulfill staffing needs.
  • Partner with sourcers to identify potential candidates using LinkedIn and Handshake.
  • Achieve and exceed daily recruitment metrics and hiring goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records and utilize ATS systems for tracking recruitment activities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, celebrating successes and sharing knowledge.
  • Support the organization's mission by hiring educators who impact students' lives positively.

Temporary Recruiter Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or staffing preferred.
  • Proficiency in using ATS systems for recruitment processes.
  • Strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience conducting behavior-based interviews effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Collaborative spirit and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Passion for working in a mission-driven environment focused on education.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements, with exceptions for medical/religious reasons.
