Tax Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage client intake forms and securely organize tax documentation within the firm’s systems.
- Scan, label, and upload financial records while ensuring data accuracy and security.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, providing professional and timely assistance.
- Assemble completed tax returns for client signatures and track e-file statuses.
- Follow up on missing documentation and address issues with tax filings.
- Prepare billing statements and monitor client receivables to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in responding to IRS and State Tax notices with appropriate documentation.
- Support general office tasks and administrative workflows during tax season.
Tax Administrative Assistant Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is required for this position.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a tax-related field.
