Job Description

Overview

  • Support payroll operations during peak season, focusing on garnishments and timekeeping system administration.
  • Collaborate with HRIS team to ensure accurate payroll and timekeeping data management.
  • Utilize Oracle Payroll, ADP Smart Compliance, and UKG Dimensions for payroll processing.
  • Perform advanced Excel reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide timely responses to agencies and maintain confidentiality in payroll functions.
  • Assist employees with garnishment-related inquiries while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Generate payroll and timekeeping reports to support operational efficiency.
  • Work onsite Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Interpret and process wage garnishment orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for all garnishment orders.
  • Perform reconciliations of wage deductions against payments to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor timecard approvals and maintain manager access within the timekeeping system.
  • Generate payroll and timekeeping reports using advanced Excel functions.
  • Assist with payroll processing and other timekeeping-related activities as needed.
  • Communicate with agencies, courts, and legal departments regarding garnishment inquiries.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or related administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Payroll, ADP Smart Compliance, and UKG Dimensions.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with wage garnishment laws and payroll practices.
