Area Sales Manager Overview
- The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned geographical area.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quotas.

- Identify consumer needs and recommend tailored solutions to enhance sales outcomes.

- Represent the client at conventions and industry events to build brand presence.
- Mentor and support Territory Sales Managers to foster team success.
- Contribute to establishing the client’s reputation and expanding its customer base.
Area Sales Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Meet or exceed sales quotas within the designated territory.
- Generate leads through proactive cold calling and networking efforts.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.

Area Sales Manager Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical or capital sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience with medical devices, capital equipment, or surgical devices preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to retain and apply large amounts of technical information.
