Project Architect Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead all phases of architectural projects, from schematic design to construction closeout, ensuring technical accuracy and constructability.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with design intent.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with officials to secure necessary approvals for projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans to meet deadlines and profitability goals.
- Prepare and present proposals, RFPs, and marketing materials to secure new business opportunities.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction and quality standards.

- Utilize advanced software for design, reporting, and resource planning to optimize project workflows.
Project Architect Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare architecture; 6 years preferred.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit), CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite essential.
- Architectural Registration and LEED AP certification required; PMP or PSMJ certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
- Experience with resource planning tools like Unanet preferred.
