Manager Business Process Excellence Overview
- The Manager Business Process Excellence supports the development and enhancement of operational models and frameworks for integrated management systems.
- Collaborates with process owners to define architecture, standardize designs, and establish performance governance using industry best practices.
- Leverages BPM frameworks to map processes, assess maturity, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitates workshops to analyze, design, and document business processes effectively.
- Designs governance mechanisms to monitor and control process performance standards.
- Ensures compliance with GxP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Supports the use of enabling systems like SAP Signavio to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provides hands-on leadership in process improvement initiatives and change management.
Manager Business Process Excellence Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with technical operations and EHSS to identify and map current processes to frameworks.
- Define and govern standards for process hierarchy, taxonomy, and BPMN-aligned mapping.
- Facilitate workshops to analyze, design, and document business processes effectively.
- Design governance mechanisms for performance measures and process performance reviews.
- Identify and deliver targeted process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support effective use of enabling systems and tools for process management.
- Provide leadership in process change through communication and training initiatives.
Manager Business Process Excellence Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, supply chain management, or business process management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP Signavio, and document management systems.
- Expertise in process mapping and modeling using BPMN frameworks.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of APQC Process Classification Frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to travel up to 15% and maintain a hybrid work schedule.
