  • The Fundraising Operations Senior Specialist is a contract role focused on maintaining CRM system integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate entry and reconciliation of gift revenue across systems.
  • Design and implement process changes to streamline workflows and communications between departments.
  • Lead daily operations interactions across fundraising, finance, and program operations teams.
  • Promote transparency and efficiency through innovative communication streams and reporting mechanisms.
  • Advise and train staff to enhance job proficiency and independent issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS, FASB, and financial reporting requirements and regulations.
  • Support WWF’s fundraising initiatives and restricted revenue campaigns with expert-level knowledge.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration across teams.

Fundraising Operations Senior Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the processing and accuracy of high-dollar financial and constituent data in the CRM database.
  • Lead reconciliation efforts between processing staff, vendors, financial institutions, and the general ledger.
  • Supervise revenue processing for individual giving, private sector engagement, and foundation relations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve multi-faceted gift and CRM system inquiries.
  • Certify gift revenue figures prior to daily accounting interface deadlines and fiscal closes.
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures to ensure efficacy and compliance.
  • Develop and manage communication streams to enhance transparency and efficiency across systems.
  • Advise and train staff to foster increased job proficiency and technical knowledge.

Fundraising Operations Senior Specialist Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of 6 years of professional experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM database operations and financial accounting systems required.
  • Experience with Blackbaud CRM or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and vendors.
