Senior Financial Planner Overview

  • The Senior Financial Planner will collaborate with firm leadership to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients.
  • Partner directly with the CEO to co-advise and manage elite client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and strategic planning.
  • Shadow the CEO to gain insights into managing a $2.8 billion portfolio, preparing for leadership transition opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sophisticated financial, estate, tax, and retirement strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Coordinate with CPAs, estate attorneys, and insurance professionals to deliver seamless, cross-disciplinary client solutions.
  • Contribute to the firm's award-winning culture, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team.
  • Leverage advanced financial planning software to optimize workflows and ensure data integrity.

Senior Financial Planner Key Responsibilities & Duties

Senior Financial Planner Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is required.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial planning experience; 20 years preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of tax mitigation, estate structuring, and corporate benefits.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software such as eMoney or MoneyGuidePro.
  • Active Series 65 or Series 66 license; Life & Health Insurance license preferred.
  • Elite presentation and interpersonal skills to build trust with high-income individuals.
