- The Quality Engineer ensures product excellence by conducting precise inspections and implementing quality assurance practices in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

- Perform first article inspections and contribute to supplier quality evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications.

Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct detailed inspections of machined parts using precision tools and equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings.
- Document inspection findings and communicate results to relevant teams for corrective actions.
- Perform first article inspections and assist in supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly to maintain accuracy in assessments.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Monitor quality trends and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability and operational efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on quality metrics and defect analysis to inform decision-making.
- Support the implementation of quality standards and procedures to align with industry best practices.
Quality Engineer Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in an engineering or technical field is required; AAS preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and SPC methodologies.
- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with CMM operation or programming is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of quality processes, including NCR, MRB, and CAR procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure product excellence.
