Staffing Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process caregiver applications promptly and maintain accurate employee files.
- Run weekly orientations for newly hired CHHAs and CNAs.
- Support scheduling and assist with coverage needs as required.
- Communicate with on-call staff and answering services daily.
- Address caregiver and patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Report issues related to scheduling, complaints, or after-hours calls.
- Assist with quality assurance initiatives to maintain service standards.
- Ensure visits are authorized and billable according to agency policies.
- Enforce company policies fairly and consistently while performing additional duties as assigned.
Staffing Coordinator Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or equivalent educational background.
- At least 1 year of recruiting or HR experience in homecare or healthcare.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage dynamic responsibilities.
- Comfortable working with people and solving problems effectively.
- Must pass a criminal background check as per agency requirements.
- Homecare experience is required to understand operational needs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs and perform necessary movements.
