X-Ray Technologist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results and patient care.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

X-Ray Technologist Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to enhance patient communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
