PACU / Ambulatory Surgery Nurse Educator Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement educational programs for PACU and ambulatory surgery staff to ensure high standards of care.

PACU / Ambulatory Surgery Nurse Educator Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with 6 years preferred, in PACU, ICU, or similar settings.
  • Active RN license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; additional certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in EPIC systems and bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in nursing education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and educate staff.
