Senior Human Resources Business Partner Overview

  • The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will execute HR strategies aligned with business goals to enhance organizational performance and drive results.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver integrated talent management solutions, including workforce planning and employee relations.
  • Provide expertise in compensation, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Engage with HR teams to support business leaders and employees effectively.
  • Lead and participate in special projects to improve organizational effectiveness and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Utilize HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools to streamline HR processes.
  • This is a contract position covering a three-month leave, offering flexibility in pay rates.

Senior Human Resources Business Partner Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute HR strategies aligned with business goals to drive organizational performance.
  • Develop and manage innovative HR programs and initiatives to support business needs.
  • Provide consultation and coaching to senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Administer performance management programs linking pay and performance effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws across all HR activities.
  • Utilize organizational effectiveness and change management methodologies to enhance operations.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to deliver specialized expertise and support.
  • Lead workforce planning and succession planning initiatives to ensure talent readiness.

Senior Human Resources Business Partner Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR business partner, generalist, or labor relations roles.
  • Experience supporting groups covered by collective bargaining agreements is advantageous.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems is required.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand strategic people initiatives.
  • Exceptional consultation, coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with senior management.
