• The Director of Operations will oversee project management and operational execution for ground-up and tenant improvement construction projects.
• Lead a team of 10-12 professionals, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with organizational goals.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met consistently.
• Travel within the Southeast region as needed to oversee project sites and team activities.
• Contribute to resource allocation, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Report to regional leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.

Director of Operations Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee the execution of ground-up and tenant improvement construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize project delivery and resource utilization.
• Manage and mentor a team of project management professionals to achieve performance excellence.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to established plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Director of Operations Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or operations, with 12 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in ground-up and tenant improvement construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel within the Southeast region as required.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
