- The Occupancy Specialist – Real Estate will assist with applicant qualification processes within the Affordable Department, ensuring compliance with housing regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate directly with the Director of Affordable Housing to manage occupancy-related tasks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, and verify income and asset documentation for eligibility determination.
- Maintain, update, and manage property waiting lists to ensure accurate records and efficient processes.
- Follow HUD, HPD, and Section 8 guidelines to ensure compliance with housing regulations.
- Assist various departments with audits and special projects, contributing to organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to applicants and team members alike.
- Adapt to new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment to enhance efficiency.
