Primary Care Physician Overview

  • The Primary Care Physician will deliver comprehensive medical care to a primarily geriatric patient population.
  • This role includes Medical Director responsibilities, overseeing clinical operations across two locations in Indiana.
  • Enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or hospital-based commitments.
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care with a manageable patient volume of 5–6 patients daily.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Contribute to quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and regulatory compliance as part of your Medical Director duties.
  • This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and additional Medical Director stipend.

Primary Care Physician Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide routine primary care services to a geriatric and adult patient population.
  • Manage a daily patient load of 5–6 individuals, ensuring personalized and thorough care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver coordinated and effective medical services.
  • Oversee clinical operations as Medical Director for two Indiana locations.
  • Review and complete patient charts and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to the care team, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and leadership, offering expertise and support.

Primary Care Physician Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active Indiana medical license or eligibility.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3 years preferred in a relevant field.
  • Experience caring for geriatric and/or medically complex adult patients.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to lead and support the care team.
  • Ability to manage clinical oversight and administrative responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a low-volume setting.
  • Familiarity with quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
