Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Overview
- The Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN will provide exceptional medical care within the scope of licensed practice, emphasizing efficiency and affordability.
- Collaborate with a highly-trained medical team in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art healthcare environment.
- Deliver compassionate care and support to patients and families, focusing on women’s health and fertility.
- Perform advanced medical procedures such as ultrasounds, intrauterine inseminations, and phlebotomy.
- Educate patients on infertility evaluations, treatments, and protocols, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
- Coordinate patient treatment plans, including Egg Freezing, IUI, IVF, and Frozen Embryo Transfers.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and charting.
- Contribute to a positive and adaptable team culture, maintaining focus on patient satisfaction.
Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to medical delivery standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate and medically treat patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
- Oversee and manage medical staff during shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Perform ultrasounds, intrauterine inseminations, and routine phlebotomy as required.
- Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, and procedures, fostering informed decision-making.
- Coordinate and oversee patient cycling processes, including injection training and consent reviews.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records systems.
- Support a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients.
Nurse Practitioner – OBGYN Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid NY or NJ state Registered Nurse Licensure for ARNP or Certified Physician Assistant Licensure.
- Unrestricted, active, and current DEA number/license, if applicable.
- 1-2 years of experience in fertility or OBGYN practice; new graduates considered.
- Preferred experience in ultrasound procedures and women’s health.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and fast-paced situations effectively.
- Passion for women’s health and fertility care, with attention to detail and patient satisfaction.
