Job Description

Medical Assistant Overview

  • The Medical Assistant supports clinical and administrative tasks to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide age-specific care and services tailored to patient needs.
  • Assists with patient registration, scheduling, and documentation using electronic medical record systems.
  • Engages patients and guests with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience during their visit.
  • Supports direct patient care activities, including vital signs, specimen collection, and diagnostic preparations.

Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, vital signs, and diagnostic testing.
  • Coordinate referrals and schedule appointments with specialists, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Monitor patient flow and address any issues related to registration or clinical services.
  • Document patient information and care activities in electronic medical records accurately.

Medical Assistant Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in navigating electronic medical record systems is essential.
