Corporate Paralegal Overview
- The Corporate Paralegal will support the Legal Department in managing corporate governance, litigation, regulatory compliance, licensing, and internal documentation processes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining organized systems for electronic legal files, workflows, and databases to ensure timely access and updates.
- Implement licensing processes, including tracking applications, renewals, and regulatory submissions for store operating companies.
- Assess legal documentation and correspondence for accuracy and completeness, supporting litigation and compliance efforts.
- Resolve routine legal and administrative issues by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support administrative tasks such as file organization, meeting coordination, expense reporting, and managing confidential communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, vendors, and government agencies to ensure seamless legal operations.
- Report directly to the General Counsel and contribute to the establishment of a robust legal team.

- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the General Counsel and other stakeholders.
Corporate Paralegal Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1-4 years of experience as a paralegal within a law firm or corporate office environment.
- Strong technical skills in Excel and document management systems such as Relativity or Concordance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in interacting professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in licensing processes and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts and updates.
