Job Captain Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop detailed drawings, building specifications, and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Review designs and calculations for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with standards.
- Research building codes and accessibility requirements to ensure project compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to streamline project execution.
- Prepare and submit project documentation for permitting and plan reviews.
- Adhere to and enforce the firm’s quality control procedures throughout project phases.
- Support project managers in managing multiple assignments effectively.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Creative Suite for enhanced project documentation.
Job Captain Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent professional degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of architectural experience, with 7 years preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with US project delivery methods, building codes, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Smartsheet, or SketchUp is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective project coordination.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel requirements.
