Analyst, Fund Accounting Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform monthly and quarterly fund closings, including NAV review and reconciliation tasks.
• Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review partners' capital statements, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
• Coordinate and review capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Manage fund expenses, including accruals and payment coordination for accuracy.
• Prepare and review investor return calculations and NAV estimates on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Support ad hoc reporting and project initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Analyst, Fund Accounting Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this position.
• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting within financial services.
• Experience with private credit, public credit, private equity, or hedge funds is preferred.
• Big Four public accounting experience is highly desirable for this role.
• CPA certification is preferred to demonstrate advanced accounting expertise.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools is required for efficient task execution.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment with a 4/1 office-home split.
