Registered Nurse Overview
- The Registered Nurse role involves providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure quality care and adherence to performance improvement initiatives.
- Utilize professional nursing practices and the nursing process to address patient needs effectively.
- Manage patient care by coordinating with healthcare teams and integrating care functions seamlessly.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and leadership within the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Provide care tailored to the unique needs and behaviors of the patient population served.
- Work in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shifts with scheduled hours of 6:45 PM to 7:30 AM.

Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process to address patient needs effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 4 years preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse license issued by the New York State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in nursing theory, practice, and acute care standards.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Demonstrated clinical skills and positive communication abilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology and practice standards relevant to emergency care.
