Associate Vice President for Human Resources Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and professional development.
- Lead proactive employee and labor relations strategies, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Direct the performance management lifecycle, ensuring accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Associate Vice President for Human Resources Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in human resources administration, with supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state legislation governing HR functions, including ADA, EEO, Title IX, and FMLA.
- Master’s Degree and professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are preferred.
- Experience serving as Title IX Coordinator or Deputy is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop, communicate, and maintain HR business processes effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
