• The Principal – Software Integration role leads technical software systems development, deployment, and integration efforts within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

• Collaborate across engineering, QA, business stakeholders, and external technology vendors to drive strategic technology initiatives.

Principal – Software Integration Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead PLM development and enhancement initiatives, coordinating with external consultants and technology partners.
• Develop and improve PLM policies, workflows, and governance practices in collaboration with engineering and business teams.
• Provide technical leadership for system enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with QA teams to refine processes and ensure software quality standards.
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving document control and technology integrations.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve system connectivity, data consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the implementation of third-party software solutions and AI-enabled business tools.
• Assist in strategic projects, including enterprise platform integration and workflow automation.

Principal – Software Integration Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience, with 10 years preferred, in software implementation or systems development.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise software platforms such as PLM, ERP, or document management systems.
• Strong process-development skills, including creating clear policies and procedures.
• Experience managing external consultants and technology partners effectively.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles and collaborative QA practices.
• Proven ability to assess processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation, and emerging technologies is advantageous.
