Litigation CFIUS Paralegal Overview

- Support attorneys in complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters, ensuring accurate and high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate assignments, priorities, deadlines, and case activities with attorneys and case teams effectively.
- Provide substantive paralegal support throughout all phases of litigation and related proceedings.
- Assist in discovery processes, document collection, review, and preparation for legal proceedings.
- Prepare, review, and file legal materials in accordance with applicable rules and deadlines.
- Coordinate deposition, witness, and client interview preparation with organized documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information in all aspects of work.
Litigation CFIUS Paralegal Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide advanced paralegal support for litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production tracking.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and filing pleadings, motions, and legal submissions.
- Organize exhibits, chronologies, and witness files for depositions and interviews.
- Provide trial and hearing support, including logistics coordination and resource tracking.
- Ensure compliance with procedural rules and deadlines in all legal activities.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to achieve case objectives efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information in all work processes.
Litigation CFIUS Paralegal Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program required.
- Minimum of four years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of legal technology, applications, and research tools.
- Experience with U.S. government regulatory filings and databases is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to perform complex assignments with limited supervision effectively.
- Proficiency in coordinating case activities, deadlines, and priorities with teams.
