Matthew Schirano has been a part of the Green Key IT team since 2014. Today, he is the Executive Director of Technology Recruitment at Green Key.  

Schirano has a demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the State University of New York College at Cortland. 

We asked Schirano to give us a glimpse into his role as a tech recruiter at Green Key. 

What inspired you to pursue a career in recruitment?

Where has Green Key provided service that is hard to match in an internal hiring team?

Recruiting for extremely niche roles. Our ability to create meaningful connections with clients across the technology sector means we are often hiring for roles that candidates might not come across elsewhere in their job search. Check out our piece, “What’s New in the Tech Job Market?” for some examples of how the tech talent search has shifted over the last several months.
