Job Description

Overview

  • Support the commercial outside sales team by managing customer onboarding and account setup processes.
  • Handle customer account changes, including service adjustments and billing discrepancies.
  • Negotiate pricing and facilitate service agreement renewals to ensure customer retention.
  • Resolve service requests and issues promptly to meet customer commitments.
  • Provide detailed information on services, pricing, and promotions to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Onboard new commercial customers by setting up accounts and processing payments.
  • Manage customer account adjustments, including service and container size changes.
  • Negotiate price increases and support customer retention efforts.
  • Facilitate service agreement renewals and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Handle service requests and manage lost account transitions effectively.
  • Provide accurate information about services and promotions to customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Adapt to frequent changes in the work environment during company expansion.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office products.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of waste management or related industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Fluency in English required; bilingual Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
