Overview
- Support the business development strategy for a global law firm's M&A practice.
- Collaborate with partners and teams to prepare targeted presentations and materials.
- Coordinate competitive intelligence research and update market trends for strategic initiatives.
- Assist with submissions to directories, guides, and surveys to enhance visibility.
- Maintain CRM systems and practice experience databases for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with global staff to ensure consistent updates to marketing materials.
- Coordinate internal and external communications and events for practice visibility.
- Adhere to information security policies and report potential risks to management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare pitch books, RFP responses, and deal sheets to showcase firm expertise.
- Assist with editing, fact-checking, and proofreading materials for accuracy.
- Coordinate content for marketing conferences and collaborate with the Events department.
- Maintain lawyer biographies across print and digital channels.
- Collaborate with Communications and Digital Marketing teams for visibility programs.
- Ensure timely responses to requests from multiple lawyers across time zones.
- Support the maintenance and growth of the practice through strategic initiatives.
- Comply with firm policies to protect assets and report security risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; JD or Master's degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in law firms, financial institutions, or professional services.
- Proficiency in Excel, Dynamics, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and online media information resources.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of transactional and litigation terminology and processes.
