For the past twenty years, our firm has been committed to connecting top talent with leading companies across various industries. In 2008, we recognized the growing need for flexible staffing solutions and launched our Temp division. Sixteen years later, the division has become a vital part of our success. As we reflect on twenty years of growth, and sixteen years of providing exceptional temporary staffing solutions, we are filled with pride and gratitude.

Tony Giarratana, Senior Partner and founder of the Temp division, told us, “I launched the Temporary Division in 2008 with two main objectives: to support Green Key’s client base with temporary staffing solutions and to surround myself with staffing professionals with a team-first mentality.”

A Journey of Growth and Innovation

From our humble beginnings in 2004, we have grown into a trusted partner for businesses and job seekers alike. The creation of our Temp division in 2008 was a pivotal moment in our history. Not only were we responding to the increasing demand for flexible staffing solutions, but we were fortunate to enlist the expertise of Deloris Jones and Larry Goodman, to name a few.

These energetic leaders brought with them a wealth of experience in temporary staffing and a shared vision for the division’s success. With their guidance and determination, we laid the foundation for what would become a thriving part of Green Key. Deloris reflected, “Larry and I brought our reputation over and started reaching out and networking with people in the industry. We built the division from the ground up.”

Building a new temp division from scratch was no small feat, and our team faced numerous challenges along the way. From navigating market fluctuations to adapting to changing client needs, they approached each obstacle with resilience and determination. Their ability to pivot, innovate, and persevere has been essential to our growth and longevity.

Building Strong Partnerships and Empowering Talent

Over the past sixteen years, the Temp division has been instrumental in building strong, lasting partnerships with both clients and candidates. They understand that every business has unique requirements and are dedicated to providing tailored staffing solutions that drive success. Their commitment to excellence and personalized service has earned them a reputation for reliability and quality.

“There are companies I have worked with since inception that we’re still showing up and providing temp staffing services for,” mentioned Deloris.

The Temp division believes in the potential of every individual we place. They have empowered thousands of professionals by providing opportunities for growth, skill development, and career advancement. Many of their temporary placements have led to permanent positions, showcasing the impact of our work on individual lives and careers.

The working world has evolved significantly over the past two decades, and the Temp division has continually adapted to meet these changes period from embracing new technologies to navigating economic shifts, our team has remained agile and forward thinking. This adaptability has allowed us to stay ahead of the curve and consistently deliver top-tier service.

Why Green Key?

Clients and candidates choose to partner with our temp division because of their unwavering commitment to excellence, personalized service, and track record of success.

For clients, we offer more than just temporary staffing solutions; we provide strategic workforce solutions to their unique needs. Our dedicated team takes the time to understand each client’s business, culture, and objectives, ensuring that we deliver the right talent at the right time. Whether they need short-term support for a specific project or ongoing assistance to meet fluctuating demands, our clients trust us to provide reliable, skilled professionals who can hit the ground running.

Similarly, candidates are drawn to the Temp division because of the opportunities for growth, development, and career advancement that we offer.

“We take a proactive approach to matching candidates with rules that align with their skills, interests, and career goals, providing them with valuable experiences and meaningful connections along the way,” Deloris added.

She also emphasized the significance of forming enduring connections with both clients and candidates, noting, “The majority of the team have considerable tenure, with over ten years of experience. With that, we’re able to establish long-lasting relationships. We are not just going to submit your resume and see what happens. We’re true career coaches trying to make the best match. We always provide high quality work and consistency.”

Julian Davis, Executive Director on the IT Temp team shared why IT clients choose their team saying, “Our contract and contingent employees offer flexibility and versatility without long-term commitment, allowing businesses to adapt swiftly to changing needs. With the rising costs and time it takes to hire a full-time employee, consultants are a cost-effective and immediate solution to tackle any areas that need support. We have allowed many organizations to scale up and acquire new business of their own without fear of not being able to take on the additional workload. We take the time to understand the intricate needs of each client and their industry to deliver highly skilled, specialized, and fully vetted candidates.”

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate this milestone, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients, candidates, and dedicated team members who have been instrumental in our success. We look forward to the future with excitement, ready to continue our mission of connecting businesses with outstanding Temp talent. Here’s to another 20 years of growth, innovation, and excellence!

The Essence of Marketing Strategy: Driving Business Success

In the intricate world of business, a marketing strategy serves as the cornerstone upon which companies build their path to success. But what exactly is the marketing strategy, what are the different types of marketing strategies, and how does it work? In this article we’ll explore these questions and delve into the essence of effective marketing strategies.

What is Marketing Strategy?

According to Investopedia.com, “A marketing strategy refers to a business’s overall game plan to facilitate the buying and selling of its products or services. A marketing strategy determines how to reach prospective consumers and turn them into customers. It contains the company’s value proposition, key brand messaging, data on target customer demographics, and other high-level elements. A thorough marketing strategy covers the four Ps of marketing: product, price, place, and promotion.”

Types of Marketing Strategy

Types of marketing strategies include:

  • Social Media Marketing
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Pay Per Click (PPC)
  • Email Marketing
  • Content Marketing

How Does it Work?

A marketing strategy functions as a road map that guides all marketing activities and initiatives. It begins with a thorough understanding of the target market – their needs, preferences, and pain points. Based on this understanding, the strategy defines the positioning of the company’s offerings and determines the most effective channels and messages to reach the target audience.

Key components of a marketing strategy include:

Market Segmentation: Identifying and segmenting the target market based on demographics, psychographics, and behavior.

Value proposition: Articulating the unique value that the company offers to its customers and differentiating itself from competitors.

Channel selection: Choosing the most appropriate marketing channels to reach the target audience, such as social media, e-mail marketing, content marketing, or traditional advertising.

Messaging and Creative: Crafting compelling messages and creative assets that resonate with their target audience and communicate the value proposition effectively.

Measurement and Analysis: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing efforts and continuously analyzing data to optimize performance.

In conclusion, understanding marketing strategies, its types, and how it works are vital for business success, enabling companies to drive growth and engagement effectively.

Now that we’ve highlighted the benefits of a marketing strategy, lets’ explore the process of creating an effective one.

According to Hubspot.com, here are the eight steps a company should take during the marketing strategy process:

  • Conduct market research: “…you need to gather useful data for making informed decisions. Market research is like playing detective, but instead of solving crimes, you’re uncovering juicy details about your customers. Market research will help your businesses make data-driven decisions for your marketing strategy. It also makes it easier to understand your target market, find gaps, and make the most of your resources.”
  • Define your goals: What do you want to achieve through your marketing efforts? Whether it’s increasing brand awareness, driving sales, or diversifying your customer base, well-defined goals will guide your marketing strategy.”
  • Identify your target audience and create buyer personas: To create an effective marketing strategy, you need to understand who your ideal customers are. Take a look at your market research to understand your target audience and market landscape. Accurate customer data is especially important for this step…”
  • Conduct competitive analysis: To begin your competitive analysis, start with your top competitors. Reviewing their websites, content, ads, and pricing can help you understand how to differentiate your brand. It’s also a useful way to find opportunities for growth.”
  • Develop key messaging: Craft compelling massages and creative assets that effectively communicate your value proposition and resonate with your audience. Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels to build brand recognition and trust.
  • Choose your marketing channels: You know what you have to say, now decide on the best marketing channels for your message. Your top goal for this stage of your strategy is to align your channel choices with your target persona’s media consumption habits. Start with media channels you’re already using. Then, consider a mix of traditional and digital channels such as social media, TV, email marketing, podcast ads, SEO, content marketing, and influencer partnerships. To streamline this process, think of your assets in three categories — paid, owned, and earned media.”
  • Create, track, and analyze KPIs: At this stage, you’ll shift from marketing detective to numbers nerd. With a little planning and prep, your analytics can unveil the mysteries of marketing performance and unlock super insights. Review your strategy and choose measurable KPIs to track the effectiveness of your strategy. Create a system that works for your team to collect and measure your data.”
  • Present your marketing strategy: A finished marketing strategy will pull together the sections and components above. It may also include: Executive Summary, Brand Identity, and a Marketing Plan and Tactics”
